Database Entry for John Tucker

Source: Marriage of John Tucker and Tryphena Ham,  the records found in 
the Book "The Early Marriages of Strafford Co. New Hampshire 1630-1860
By Robert Sayward Canney. According to this record John and Typhena Ham 
were married near 1700.   When Tryphena died is not known, only that it 
was before Sept.29, 1727 That was the date of her father's will.
Abigail Hearnded is mention in her father's will as Abigail Tucker, that 
was in 1726/7.  Abigail was alive as late as Oct. 26 1754, when she made 
affidavit as to the date of birth of her son Jonathan. Jonathan married 
Lydia Ballard.
Souces comes from the Manuscript of Morris Tucker and five generations of 
his descendands. Also I have a copy of John Ham's will and John Heardon 
will.
According to Dover records John was captured by the Indians more then 
once.
