part two M to Z by Robert Sayward Canney. Also in Dover Marriages as of
"about 1700". The Ham Genealogy by Dr. John R. Ham, a manuscript with New
England Historic Genealogical Society, says "Tryphene Ham Married John
Tucker. John Tucker was captured by the Indians in 1696, but soon found
his way back to Dover. According toThe Journal of the Rev. John Pike
the date was July 26, 1696.
other sources the Morris Tucker and Five Generations of his Descendants
Manuscript.
John Tucker married the second time to Abigail Hearnded. I have not
found a marriage date on John Tucker and Abigail Heardon nor did I find
one in the Morris Tucker Manuscript, but according to her father wills of
1726/7 abigail is referred to as his daughter Abigail Tucker.
John Tucker recorded the births of none of his children. However his
wife Abigail recorded the birth of her son Jonathan after John had died
and she had remarried. From the Morris Tucker Manuscribe and I also found
the birth recorded in Vital Records of RI.
I have ented the children of John in the same manner that they were
entered in the Morris Tucker Manuscript. To sort out which children
belong to which mother the manuscribe went by John's will and obits.
Since Abner was the youngest son they were sure that Abigail was his
mother.
